Radical Islamism and Reality

Unfortunately, there remain far too many people who are either too good hearted or contemptuous of their own culture to accept the fact that Islamism is a totalitarian ideology bent on  world domination.  Its adherents show no compassion or mercy toward non-believers and will either enslave or murder them. 
Additionally, the extreme elements have no compunction over abusing and/or executing fellow Muslims who are deemed to be not Muslim enough. Many such have have suffered horrendously under their hands.

Is something extremely unusual happening to our planet? At this moment, Hurricane Florence is just one of seven named storms that are currently circling the globe. That matches the all-time record, and it looks like that record will be broken very shortly as a couple more storms continue to develop. Back in 2004, a Hollywood blockbuster entitled “The Day After Tomorrow” depicted a world in which weather patterns had gone mad. One of the most impressive scenes showed nearly the entire planet covered by hurricane-type storms all at once. Of course things are not nearly as bad as in that film, but during this hurricane season we have definitely seen a very unusual number of hurricanes and typhoons develop. As our planet continues to change, could this become “the new normal”?

The Government Accountability Institute’s (GAI) Eric Eggers, author of Fraud: How the Left Plans to Steal the Next Election, warned of a potential “tsunami of voter fraud” within November’s forthcoming midterm elections during a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour.

Eggers pointed to narrow electoral margins of victory in Tuesday’s elections as evidence of vulnerability to the threat of voter fraud.

In an interview with the Huffington Post this week, American Civil Liberties Union executive Ben Wizner, who runs the Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project for the law firm, said that liberals cheering Facebook and other social media companies for banning Alex Jones and Infowars should instead be standing up for the principles of free speech. Wizner warned that we shouldn’t trust private corporations to decide which political speech is good for our ears and which isn’t; he said that progressives should know that the same tools used to censor controversial speech on the right can be used to do the same to speech on the left.

The more we get down the road with the left’s clear mission to jail as many people as necessary until one flips and gives them an impeachable offense to drive President Trump from the White House, the more curious it becomes that President Trump is doing nothing to stop it.

Are the Dems too fractured to have a coherent message?

If the Dems do take over the House in 2018, they just may suffer the same fate as the disunited GOP has been enduring. 
A lack of cohesion and an every candidate for him/herself approach can lead to a most garbled and confusing message and raises the question of just what exactly does the  Democrat party stand for.  Do they have a secret agenda that cannot be campaigned on lest it turn away more moderate voters?

The Democrats have decided that agendas are overrated. Back in May, the party unveiled its "Better Deal" program, calling for expanded broadband access, an increase in the minimum wage, and paid family and sick leave. Voters didn't bite. So last month the Democrats came up with "For the People," which simplifies the platform to infrastructure spending, lowering health care costs, and draining the swamp. Again, crickets.

What to do? Party leadership has declared that it's every cis-het man for himself. "We trust our candidates to know their districts and the challenges facing their communities better than anyone," House campaign chair Ben Ray Luján tells the New York Times. Translation: If you are Conor Lamb, run as a gun-friendly champion of the working class. If you are Rashida Tlaib, feel free to announce that you would vote against aid for Israel and to call for bi-nationalism that would end the Jewish State. Texas Democrat Colin Allred, following Hillary Clinton, says everyone should be able to buy into Medicare. Maine Democrat Jared Golden, following Bernie Sanders, says, "We need to move towards a universal health care system, like Medicare-for-all."

Such diversity of approach troubles the philosopher kings of Forty-First Street. Discarding a "Washington platform," write Sheryl Stolberg and Nicholas Fandos, is "a risky strategy." It leaves unanswered the question of what the Democratic Party stands for. It "could raise questions among voters about how Democrats would govern." Questions to which there are few substantive answers.

Cuomo, the America never was that great hawker, has become so over the top on the issue of gun control that it has brought on the attention of and action by the ACLU. How refreshing.
When politicians go dingbat nuclear, they must be stopped and the New York Governor has shockingly crossed the line with his abusive regulations aimed at the NRA. .
Although many may have issues with some of the ACLU's positions, at least it can recognize unconstitutional despotism and defend against it.

In one survey, 75% of tech entrepreneurs voted for Hillary Clinton. 8.8% voted for Trump. 83% back higher taxes, 82% support gun control and another 82% are in favor of socialized medicine.

Google, Microsoft, Apple and Amazon employees were 4 out of 5 of Bernie Sanders’ top donors. Cash from Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft poured into the Clinton campaign. $1.6 million was donated by Google employees to Hillary Clinton and Google employee money is still pouring into competitive congressional races in the midterm elections. The same is true across the tech spectrum.

People have a right to their own political views. But that’s an idea that today’s Silicon Valley rejects.
