Defense Dept. says US troop withdrawal from Syria is ‘deliberate, well thought-out’

The Department of Defense on Friday tweeted about the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria, saying that it's carefully planned and organized.
The department described the course of action as being “deliberate, well thought-out, mutually supportive, and controlled,” while also guaranteeing “our troops’ safety and protection.”
The tweet came days after a senior defense official told Fox News that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis signed orders to pull all American troops out of the country in the coming weeks. Pentagon officials would not talk about the details, citing operational security.

The liberal media were at it again in 2018, continuing to misreport, exaggerate, censor and spin business and economic news.
Some moments were laughable, such as when a New York Times
reporter implied America no longer uses coal for energy. Others, such as
the warning of a “climate genocide,” were no laughing matter.
One big change the media made (for the worse) this year was changing from barely reporting on liberal billionaire George Soros to lauding him and his “values” — rather than reporting on him honestly and objectively. On Dec. 19, Financial Times named him its “Person of the Year.”
Here are just 10 of the worst examples of spin, censorship and misreporting on business and economics from the past year.

The sad thing is that people believe this is about Republicans and Democrats. It’s NOT. They are two wings same bird. They all serve the same corporate masters. This is about the elite vs We The People. Time for the world to wake the hell up. And as soon as this economy tanks it will be yellow vest time in America.
Not a Crash, but Regular Volatility – But let’s talk about another big down Monday. As I suggested when I did my podcast on Friday, I’m still thinking that there is a possibility of a Black Monday type event this year. I said we were running out of Mondays because we only had 3 left, and now one down. This, again was not a crash, but the Dow did close down better than 500 points. At one point, we were down over 600. You know, these big drops are not becoming a recurring event – they add up, right? Worst December Start Since 1980 – If you look at the charts, we look extremely vulnerable to a big drop. I read that already, we’re off to the worse start for a December since 1980. That was really the end of the last bear market. We had a bear market that went from 1966 to 1982, so the last time we had a December this week was at the tail end of that long-term secular bear market.

Darrell Issa: Michael Flynn's conviction will be 'overturned' due to Justice Department, FBI wrongdoingA court will overturn former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's conviction for lying to the FBI, a House Judiciary Republican predicted Sunday.
The prognostication by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who is retiring from Congress in January, comes after a federal judge demanded more information about Flynn's dealings with the FBI ahead of his expected sentencing on Tuesday. Last December, Flynn pleaded guilty as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's federal Russia inquiry to lying during a January 2017 interview with investigators. He told them he did not discuss sanctions with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynn's lawyers have argued their client should not receive prison time due to the casual nature of the sit-down, including how Flynn was not advised he was under scrutiny from the government.
"I would not be surprised a bit if the conviction of
Flynn is overturned because of the Justice Department and the FBI's misconduct," Issa told Fox News.

In the name of scientific “progress,” Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital in the United Kingdom recently tried to pioneer the use of a surgical robot that it tasked with repairing a patient’s damaged heart valve, only to have the machine go completely bonkers and ultimately kill the man on the operating table.
According to reports, this first-time-use robot not only physically assaulted a living medic while attempting to conduct its programmed surgery, but also implanted stitches into the patient’s heart in a manner that physicians present during the fiasco described as not being in “an organised fashion.”
A situation that can only be described as total chaos, with human surgeons, doctors, and nurses having to scream at each other in order to overcome the “tinny” sound coming from the robot as they were trying to control it, the attempted surgery ended up being nothing short of a complete failure. And in the end, retired music teacher and conductor, Stephen Pettitt, the guinea pig patient in this medical experiment, ultimately lost his life.

A judge ruled Friday evening that Obamacare is unconstitutional, putting the future of the federal healthcare law in jeopardy.
The decision, issued by U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor in the Northern District of Texas — a George W. Bush appointee, is likely to face an appeal to the Fifth Circuit. Obamacare will remain in place pending appeal .
