Tax and spend liberals are at it again.
Although there were huge benefits to the 2017 tax cuts including a rise in take-home pay for a majority of American wage earners’ and hiring or investment expansions at hundreds of companies, many liberals are calling for tax hikes. Just don’t expect the networks to spell that out for voters.

The enemy within continues to grow in both strength and violence. Some Leftists are intellectually sound, truly embrace the ideology, and believe they can create a better world, if they do it properly, whatever that means.

Unfortunately, the vast majority are simply easily led useful idiots.

There are allegedly mass hypnosis sessions which inculcate the acceptable mantras to be repeated at protest gatherings. Perhaps this explains their robotic chanting.

Furthermore, Ford's own behavior as well as her political leanings and connections are coming to light and possibly clouding the issue:

 Are we now under the horrendous "guilty until proven innocent" code of law. 
The lawyer for Kavanaugh's accuser has unequivocally stated that her client does not need to prove the truth of her allegations, which implies that he must prove his innocence.
This development now goes far beyond Kavanaugh.
Should this obvious desperate attempt to derail his nomination succeed, then a dangerous precedent will have been set and the entire American legal system will be as good as dead as far as the rights of the accused are concerned.
Leftist repression is no longer creeping.  It is now blatantly on display. The greatest danger is that far too many are probably unaware of the fact that this particular case can lead to the destruction of one of America's most precious freedoms.

Are the Dems too fractured to have a coherent message?

If the Dems do take over the House in 2018, they just may suffer the same fate as the disunited GOP has been enduring. 
A lack of cohesion and an every candidate for him/herself approach can lead to a most garbled and confusing message and raises the question of just what exactly does the  Democrat party stand for.  Do they have a secret agenda that cannot be campaigned on lest it turn away more moderate voters?

The Democrats have decided that agendas are overrated. Back in May, the party unveiled its "Better Deal" program, calling for expanded broadband access, an increase in the minimum wage, and paid family and sick leave. Voters didn't bite. So last month the Democrats came up with "For the People," which simplifies the platform to infrastructure spending, lowering health care costs, and draining the swamp. Again, crickets.

What to do? Party leadership has declared that it's every cis-het man for himself. "We trust our candidates to know their districts and the challenges facing their communities better than anyone," House campaign chair Ben Ray Luján tells the New York Times. Translation: If you are Conor Lamb, run as a gun-friendly champion of the working class. If you are Rashida Tlaib, feel free to announce that you would vote against aid for Israel and to call for bi-nationalism that would end the Jewish State. Texas Democrat Colin Allred, following Hillary Clinton, says everyone should be able to buy into Medicare. Maine Democrat Jared Golden, following Bernie Sanders, says, "We need to move towards a universal health care system, like Medicare-for-all."

Such diversity of approach troubles the philosopher kings of Forty-First Street. Discarding a "Washington platform," write Sheryl Stolberg and Nicholas Fandos, is "a risky strategy." It leaves unanswered the question of what the Democratic Party stands for. It "could raise questions among voters about how Democrats would govern." Questions to which there are few substantive answers.

Cuomo, the America never was that great hawker, has become so over the top on the issue of gun control that it has brought on the attention of and action by the ACLU. How refreshing.
When politicians go dingbat nuclear, they must be stopped and the New York Governor has shockingly crossed the line with his abusive regulations aimed at the NRA. .
Although many may have issues with some of the ACLU's positions, at least it can recognize unconstitutional despotism and defend against it.

 Socialist Democrats    Centrists    Conservative Republicans.

At both ends of the spectrum, there will be intolerant totalitarians, but they will be contained, hopefully.
If our republic is to survive, we need to fully wake up, shed our denial, and face the truth.
