WASHINGTON, DC- Are you familiar with H.R.1: For the People Act of 2021? If you’re not you should be. The act would be better named “H.R.1: For Making Sure Republicans Never Win Another National Election Act of 2021.”

This bill, if passed will fundamentally change how America conducts elections. Actually what it will do in part is codify the apparent massive irregularities that occurred in the 2020 election.

Before getting into the sordid details of this abomination, let’s take a look at Article II, Section I, Clause II of the United States Constitution:

 Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress…

In other words, the Framers of the Constitution specifically said that state legislatures, not Congress shall determine how electors are determined in their states.

This argument was part of the irregularities argued in the 2020 election, as several states, among them Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan all had election laws changed either by courts, governors, or unelected election officials.

It would appear that what Congress is trying to do, in part would be unconstitutional, although truth be told, it is uncertain if the Supreme Court, which has shown itself to be pretty much gutless with a few exceptions would do their Constitutional duty. However, here is what is proposed in H.R., proposed by Rep. John P. Sarbanes (D-MD). This is not the full text of the bill, just the “highlights”:

When all of the freedoms that bind us together as the United States are gone will we become unraveled or will we stand together against tyranny? How far can the American people be pushed before, like our ancestors, they stand and say, “enough!”? Or will we all look to self-interest and survival and fade from this world? And thus we enter the darkest period of humankind, where the rights granted to all by God are suppressed by those who would make themselves our masters. This is America’s Cultural Revolution and if it is allowed to proceed it will have the same toll on life and freedom as every other communist Revolution. This Revolution against the sane, the free, and the God-fearing, follows the same form and plan as it always has. It is the default plan of evil. It has not changed in all these thousands of years. Should we let Freedom will die, without America’s spark, how will it ever be rekindled? The fools will laugh and mock but in the end, the same darkness will come for them.

ONE bill that is a threat to Election Integrity

H.R. 1—or Pelosi’s election takeover bill—is scheduled for a vote this week in the House. The bill is titled, the “For the People Act,” but a better name would be the “For the Politician's Act.” If H.R. 1 passes, politicians’ election campaigns would be publicly funded through a 6-to-1 matching program. In addition to swampy provisions to benefit the political establishment in Washington, H.R. 1 has numerous partisan policies that are meant to directly benefit the political Left, by making voter fraud easier. H.R. 1 would: Remove state voter ID requirements Mandate same-day voter registration Auto register voters who partake in government programs (even if they aren’t citizens) Restore voting rights for felons Require unaccountable redistricting committees (instead of state legislatures) to draw the congressional boundaries Give one-party majority control of the Federal Election Commission (Currently, the FEC has six members—three from each party—H.R. 1 would change it to five total).   Now that Biden, Pelosi, & Schumer have power, they want to rig the rules to ensure nobody can take it away.   https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tucker-democrats-sweeping-for-the-people-act-would-enshrine-fraud
