There are many disturbing issues and questions regarding the accusations against Kavanaugh, and they are beginning to look very suspect.

Furthermore, Ford's own behavior as well as her political leanings and connections are coming to light and possibly clouding the issue:

*Kavanaugh accuser suffers cold feet when given chance to tell her story in public
(As of this writing, Ford's lawyer is attempting to negotiate her appearance but states that a Monday hearing is impossible.)
Additionally, Classmate of Kavanaugh’s accuser deletes posts claiming allegations are true when story doesn’t add up
Here is just one of a plethora of links from women coming to his defense. One person who was designated as a witness states he was not at the party either. None of Kavanaugh's associates claim to have ever seen any inappropriate behavior and further stated that the allegation is totally against his character.
While all of the above does not necessarily on their own negate the veracity of her allegations, they certainly indicate that she is closely associated with those of an anti Trump bias.
Next, we come to Democrat behavior during the entire event.

Media Hits Democrats for Politicizing Kavanaugh Accusation
When they have lost CNN & MSNBC, their credibility is as good as over.
In summation, the the Dem's entire handling of this and Feinstein's eleventh hour disclosing of the letter reek of obvious obstructionism.
However, the objective is to put the GOP in a no win situation. If they bow to Dem demands, they will lose to more and more demands which will be de facto delaying tactics. If they stand firm, it might appear as though they are mistreating Ford and not giving her a chance to state her side of the story. Thus, public opinion could well turn against them no matter what the facts are.
The implementation of sleaze at its finest.
