Leftist totalitarianism on steroids
Are we now under the horrendous "guilty until proven innocent" code of law.
The lawyer for Kavanaugh's accuser has unequivocally stated that her client does not need to prove the truth of her allegations, which implies that he must prove his innocence.
This development now goes far beyond Kavanaugh.
Should this obvious desperate attempt to derail his nomination succeed, then a dangerous precedent will have been set and the entire American legal system will be as good as dead as far as the rights of the accused are concerned.
Leftist repression is no longer creeping. It is now blatantly on display. The greatest danger is that far too many are probably unaware of the fact that this particular case can lead to the destruction of one of America's most precious freedoms.
From the Bill Of Rights:
Amendment V
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Amendment VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
Amendment VII
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Kavanaugh is being smeared and slandered. His accuser need not prove her claim?
The destruction of our rights begin with small steps. This desperate move cannot be allowed to succeed.
Caveat: If this move fails, rest assured the relentless enemy within will attempt to employ it over and over again.
Kavanaugh accuser’s lawyer says it’s ‘not her job’ to corroborate claims. Interview loaded with red flags.

Debra Katz, the attorney representing Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago in high school, apparently believes a person is guilty until proven innocent.
Turning the very essence of our legal system on its head, Katz declared that it’s not her client’s job to corroborate her very serious allegation.
Appearing on CNN — naturally — the attorney rejected the notion that the burden of proof rests with her client.
“That’s not her job to do that. If this is going to be investigated, it should be done by investigators,” Katz said.
The assertion was in response to Katz revealing there was another girl at the party in question, where a 17-year-old Kavanaugh, allegedly, in a “highly inebriated” state, held Ford down and groped her.
“While we have you, perhaps you can help us fill in the blanks on some of her story,” CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota said. “She says that she was at a party in probably 1982 in Montgomery County, Md. She says that there were four guys there, these are high school students, as was she. There were four guys there. Were there any girls there that day?”
“Yes, there was another girl at this party, yes,” Katz revealed.
It was when Camerota asked if Ford tried to corroborate her story by talking to the other partygoers that the attorney said her client doesn’t have to proof her claim.
Katz did say Ford is willing to testify — the Senate will be holding a hearing Monday in response her story, so she’ll soon get that chance.
The reaction online suggests if a woman is out to destroy a man’s life with a serious allegation like this, you’d better believe she should have to prove it.
The party of Bill Clinton and Keith Ellison are trying to lecture America why a 35 year old politically motivated fake allegation should derail a nominee
If they succeed, this will set a guilty until proven innocent precedent so dangerous it is hard to put into words

Uhhhhhh………….. so we're just going with guilty until proven innocent?! Not American. https://t.co/aBfrVLSlLy

…wait…what? 🤔
So if she won’t corroborate her claims, then it’s case dismissed.
That’s how it works.

It’s her clients 100% job to corroborate her claims.
She’s destroying a man’s life. She better be able to prove it.

Does she not understand the legal system? This just goes to prove it has never been about truth—this entire fabrication has been about smearing a good mans character that they disagree with his views politically—always has been and always will be! #liblies #deceptionovertruth — Cajundawg (@cajundawg) September 17, 201
