‘The Wire’ creator accidentally proves Trump’s Baltimore tweets are right in epic backfire

David Simon, creator of the HBO crime series “The Wire,” accidentally proved that President Trump’s tweets about West Baltimore being dangerous were correct when he said Trump would “wet himself” if he “actually visited West Baltimore for five minutes.”
Like other liberals suffering from pathological Trump Derangement Syndrome, Simon accidentally dunked on himself yesterday while trying to dunk on Trump.
Simon, a former reporter for The Baltimore Sun, is best known as the creator of the drama series “The Wire,” which chronicles the crime-infested drug den known as West Baltimore.

Simon joined the left-wing bandwagon accusing President Trump of being “RACIST!!” because Trump pointed out the truth that Baltimore has devolved into a filthy, violent hellhole under decades of Democratic leadership.

(Source: Fox News) Let the record show: Baltimore has had a Democratic mayor since 1967. During the past 52 years, the city has gotten more violent, more crime-ridden, poorer, and dirtier.

The brouhaha erupted after President Trump torched Congressman Elijah Cummings, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee. In addition to repeatedly slamming President Trump as a racist and calling for his impeachment, Cummings subpoenaed White House records on July 25.

Trump tweeted that instead of chasing his tail to manufacture bogus claims, Cummings should actually do his job — which is to lift his congressional district of Baltimore out of poverty, homelessness, and violent crime.

Naturally, the left trotted out the worn-out Race Card to attack Trump over the tweets.


But Trump also later slammed Nancy Pelosi’s district in San Francisco. The last time we checked, Pelosi was white.


The president has also repeatedly dissed NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio (who’s white, even though he’s a self-hating one). Where’s the racism?


Many black residents of Baltimore even agree with Trump. OMG!! Are they “white supremacists?”


Black conservatives pointed out that President Trump is correct in his observations about Baltimore being unlivable, thanks to the incompetent leadership of lawmakers like Cummings.

Cummings has been a congressman representing West Baltimore since 1996. During that time, the black-majority city has crumbled into poverty and violence while Cummings passionately champions to give illegal aliens amnesty and free healthcare.


While the left claims President Trump is racist for calling West Baltimore “crime-infested,” they said nothing when Barack Obama used the same words about Democrat-run cities in 2015.

The facts don’t lie. As BizPac Review reported, a study of the “100 Most Dangerous Cities in the United States” shows that the most crime-infested cities are run by Democrats.

Democratic mayors preside over 16 of the top 20 cities with the highest violent crime rates, according to a report from Neighborhood Scout. Democrats routinely take flourishing American cities and run them into the ground.

Moreover, other research confirms that states run by Democrats have the worst economies. A 2017 report entitled “Rich States, Poor States” shows that states run by Republicans have the strongest economies.

In contrast, many of the worst-performing states are run by Democrats — meaning Dems control either the governor’s office, the legislature, or both.
The bottom 10 states (including dead-last New York) are run by Democrats. Not surprisingly, all 10 went for Hillary Clinton during the presidential election.
